Default Curtain Grid Area Calculations and Energy Modeling

We are trying to schedule curtain grid areas by wall face so that we can use the data in an energy model. There doesn't seem to be an area parameter for curtain grids or an easy way to schedule the area of curtain grids to get the whole surface area of a wall face. Any hints?

Does anyone have any other experience with taking the Revit model into an energy modeling program using another method?

Are you trying to get the area of the curtain grids or the curtain wall panel? Or are you trying to get the area of the mullion on the curtain grid? As far as I know you really can't get much out of a curtain grid because the grid just delineates where the curtain wall panels are split.
