    Default Publish multiple pages

    Hi!

Why doesn't ACA 09 work in the same way as ACA 08 when it comes to publish layouts?

In the old days (a week ago) i publish/plot multiple pages using the "publish selected layouts" command when right click on a tab. Selected use printer in page setup, and publish. As a result i got all drawings as i want. Paper or pdf.

But in ACA 09 it only publish the first page. It says it publish the rest, but nothings happens.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

It's a well documented bug, that already has many threads in AUGI. Basically, turn PUBLISHCOLLATE to 0. It won't work for PDF's, just for plots. To do a PDF, you need to create a multi sheet DWF, then open the DWF and print it to a PDF. PDF needs PUBLISHCOLLATE set to 1. Hopefully it will be fixed in SP1, until then, that's your only option.

    Thank you!

If i'm not wrong, but the bug was in ACA 08 also?

    I recognizes the command

And it does work with PDF if you're using Acrobat as we do at our office.

No, I published great to PDF in 08. You can still publish to PDF in 09, but it won't be a multi sheet PDF, just a bunch of single sheets. At least that's how it is for me. I'm using Acrobat Professional 8.

You should be good to go then, lucky. I miss my multi sheet PDF. It's a pain to make DWF, then convert them to PDF.

I could do it that way also, but then you have to name every PDF. When I'm doing a 50 sheet set, it's a pain to wait and name every PDF. I jUSt hit publish and go to the kitchen!!

Thumbs down Re: Publish multiple pages

I am really unhappy too when something that was fixed in a previous version gets wrecked in the newer version. I am not using DWF and I am not planning to use it in a near future. If Autodesk really wants to push their DWF's, they should work on making DWF's from almost any application just as Acrobat allows us to do.

This "bug" reminds me of the famous Microsoft Word 6.0 for Macintosh, it was volountary bugged to discredit Macintosh OS. People who knew about it sticked to version 5.1. It seems it didn't do the job, Macintosh is still alive !!

Autodesk Design Review includes DWF Writer, a Windows System Printer that should allow you to print to DWF from any Windows application.
