Default CAD Users Designatios or CAD users Level

    Hi all,

Does anybody is having any Idea about the Designations or CAD users Level informations

Example we would like to split the CAD users as different Level

    Such as the Following

CAD Manager –--------------- One in each branch office.
CAD Coordinator –----------- One for an average of 20 users in each department, reports to
    the CAD Manager.

CAD Leader –----------------- One for each Project, reports to the CAD Coordinator and PM.
Super User –----------------- One who has the drive to learn and use the latest technology and support CAD Coordinators.

IPower User –----------------- One who is comfortable in working with KEO Standards, and willing to learn latest technology..

Intermediate User –-------- Users who takes a long time to understand and learn new technology.

if anybody is having any Idea mail me or post here

    Thanks

    Binu,

I don't see anything wrong with that. A companies designations will depend on the amount of personnel in the CAD department and how projects are arranged. Where I work we have CAD Manager, Senior CAD Tech/Designer, CAD Designer, CAD Technician. that's from top to bottom. It is also separated by department, Engineering, Survey, Planning. There is only one CAD manger for the company.

I don't see anything wrong with these titles and descriptions.
We don't have quite the hierarchy where I work, and it isn't as formal as this either.
    1. We have (1) cadd manager (who is also IT support and a senior civil designer)
    2. We have (2) cadd coordinators (unofficial titles) who set-up and police the cad standards (who are also senior designers in their disciplines).
    3. A handful of senior drafter/designers; people who design as well as draft who have been at it a long time.
    4. Some junior drafter/designers (same as above, but haven't been in it as long)
    5. A few drafters (aka "cadd technicians") who mostly re-create sketches in cadd, and do red-lines etc. usually an entry-level cadd user right out of school.
    But that's us....
