    Angry Hatching Association

When I hatch items, AutoCAD will select the borders of the hatch. After the hatch is on the drawing, I cannot just choose the hatch. AutoCAD automatically will choose the borders as well. Is there a way to turn this off but leave the hatching associative? The only way I know to be able to just select the hatch is to use a crossing box. Pleas let me know

    Default Re: Hatching Association

Type "config", and on the "selection" panel, uncheck the "Associative Hatch" box.

Alternatively, you can subtract 2 from the current setting of the PICKSTYLE variable (i.e., if it's currently 3, change it to 1; if it's currently 2, change it to 0).

Thanks, I could not remember the setting for that.
