    Default Showing object elvations in cad

    I want to show my elevations in cad as I hover over items with my cursor. I forgot which tool allows me to do this. Please help.

    Civil 3D has the capability to display surface elevations as you described. Are you working with C3D?

    You can always look at the coordinate display in the lower left corner. If an Osnap is active (and OSNAPZ is 0) the Z value of the active snap point will be displayed.
