multi category tags.

i am trying to display a beam tag that also shows the beam piece #. i assume that a multi category tag is the way to go . however when i try to place a multi category tag it tells me that there is not a tag of this type loaded. i have loaded every tag type in the imperial library and appraently none of them are multi category....?????

You dont need a multi-category tag to acheive what you require.

You can just modify an existing tag, and create a new one with an additional label for whatever paramaters you want to display

multi-category tags are something altogether again

that worked for what i needed to achieve, what is a multi category label for and where do i find one to load???

I havent had a requirement to use one so far, but from my understanding they are for use on componenents which may not have the same properties but have the same shared parameters, they are more used on architectural drawings for equipment, furniture etc.
