Post Revit Architecture Link in Consultants Revit Structure

Is there any reason why our walls would not show up in our consultants Revit Structure? They're unfortunately having a problem where they cannot see the linked walls at all, only things such as columns, floors, ect.

It's probably a simple answer, but I have no idea what is different in Structure vs. Architecture.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes that's a simple answer. They have to check the view discipline. If set to structural, only structural elements will show. They may change it to coordination.

Will that show everything? Including curtain walls? Or just some aspects?

i dont think it will show everything in the coordination discipline. i believe the intent of the coordination discipline setting is to show architectural objects that are important to the design of the structure (and vise versa).

    it will show curtain walls.

The method we have been using is to have the Architect change the Structural Usage property of the walls to "Bearing" in the Element Properties dialog box. That way we only see the walls that are important to Structural. We don't get cluttered up with interior partitions, knee walls and the like. What ever we want to see we have the Architect set as "Bearing".
