    Default Scale problem

Ok I'm using LD 2008 but i'm pretty sure this is a problem with the autocad side of things. Since we installed 2008 I have to scale my blocks up by 12 to get them to come in at the right size. My Units are Decimal feet, that's what I have always used problem is the blocks work fine for the other guy in our office and he's using decimal feet also. What am I missing?

Never mind we found it. It's under User prefreneces -> insertion scale for those curious.

Yes, each drawing can be set to a specific unit. Or it can be set to unitless, in which case the default setting (as you've indicated in Options) is what AutoCAD assumes.

It works nicely if you've got several disciplines xrefed into each other - e.g Arc using inches, landscaping using yards, struct using feet, etc. If all the drawings are setup correctly in the UNITS command - then you don't need to scale them to suit whichever discipline you're bringing them into.

But the converse is also true: if any one of those drawings have an incorrect setting in units - then you've got some weird scaling happening.
