Default Filter by level in linked schedules

I have linked files that I want to schedule and then filter by level (the schedule doesnt fit on a page otherwise).

The schedule was originally set up to filter by level, then I went in and checked the "Include elements in linked files" box. After words the filter got blanked out and the "level" parameter is no longer available to filter by. The schedule shows the level correctly but will not filter by it.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

    thanks,

    Nick

Is this just not possible or have others not run into the same issues?

    thanks,

    Nick,

What objects do you wish to schedule?

This is for door and room schedules.

The schedules show all of the elements from the linked files. However, I can no longer filter by level. The level parameter is in there and you can sort by it but it does not appear on the filter by drop down, see attached.

So I take it that this is either a bug or a known problem that I am stuck with then..?

Yes your observation is "correct"...FILTER (in a schedule) by Level is lost when including linked files. A bug, oversight...other characterization...it doesn't work. It would be nice if it did.
