    Default Follow a Path

I see i can make different shape Reference Lines, so i assume i can make different shape Line-based Families...

But what i am really trying to determine is if there is a clever way to "follow a path" with a family object... I can rotate on placement, sure. But can I follow the path of a spline? Array to a non-uniform path?

Nope. This one is missing in Revit.

You'll find that the line in a line based family can't be deleted. Now you can do some funky stuff with other reference lines atttached to this line, but there is no spline reference line you'll note.

Also there is no array along a path - or anything equivalent to the measure and spacing tools in AutoCAD. All arrays must be linear or polar.
