    Angry Power of ToolPalettes

At a previous practice I managed to customise toolpalettes so we had just our coorporate standards and changed where acad looked for them by using *_TOOLPALETTEPATH within my menu macro etc etc. which I picked up at Matt Murphy's class at the AUGI UK last November.

However, I am at a new practice now and trying the same thing using LT2007. But my version says unknown command when I type in *_TOOLPALETTEPATH at the command line.

    Any ideas

TOOLPALETTEPATH probably isn't supported in LT.

I can't check coz I don't have LT here at the moment.

According to my "AutoCAD vs. AutoCAD LT" list, you are right.

    Yep!

That is correct...LT does not support the toolpalette variable.
Your only solution as far as I know is to use palette groups.
Work very good and you can save the grouping so other user
can import them. They are easy to use.

The way it work, once you got them grouped. Right click the
side bar of the tool palette and select the group you want and
the palette will change to show only the tool palette assigned to
    this group.

    Hope it help!

I'm using Civil 3D 2008 and the command TOOLPALETTEPATH is also an "unknown" command. I was really hoping to create a macro or LISP that would load my office's custom tool palettes at startup, rather than going around to every individual computer when they "lose" the tool palette path (seems to happen quite often).

    Correct.

    Try the command *_TOOLPALETTEPATH instead.
