Default PFC Detail Component but it is not behaving properly

    Hi,
I have created this PFC Detail Component but it is not behaving properly - it doesn't adjust accordingly when I choose a different size.
Any suggestions what I have done wrong?
    Thanks

    Hi,

Rule of thumb that I use when creating families,
    1) Add your ref planes first,
    2) Add the dimension parameters,
    3) Test by changing the values in the family type dialog, the ref planes should move without errors.
    4) Add and constrain your graphics, detail components, lines masking etc.
    5) Test as per step 3

    Fixed rfa attached.

    Regards

    Anthony.

There is also a slight glitch with the PFC and RSA families, in that they appear some distance off their node line when rotated. RS2009 might have had this resolved though.

    Hi,

Our support team managed to resolve this one for us, The PFC (3d family) was slightly off origin, to fix they created a dwg with some lines crossing at 0,0 they then inserted this into the family file by origin to origin, then moved the family to the correct origin,

I think from memory the family file was only slightly out of place.
