    Default Title Block Version Parameter

Much like in Revit I'm trying to add a version number parameter to my titleblocks that can be set globally across the whole file.

Does Autocad have a feature such as this?

I've found that you can add 'fields' to block attributes. I'm running ACA2009 and have noticed that a field for CurrentSheetRevisionNumber exists.

How do I access this field though to actually enter the data?

    Your help greatly appreciated.

Are you working in Project Navigator?

How are you putting your project together and plotting out sets? Do you use the sheet set manager?

Well there are only 2 sheets in the set so I'm not using anything like that. To be honest I don't really know how these function.

I take it it is not a simple field where this parameter can be entered?

Not that I know of. I use PN, so the fields get their values from my project data. If you don't use PN or the sheet set manager, I'm not sure where you would input the data for the field to read.

If I only had 2 sheets, I would create the drawing in one file, create 2 tabs (one for each sheet), then Xref the border into the tabs. That way, you only have to update the border once and each tab will reflect the changes.
