Default Non MEP snaps on Electrical devices.

    Hey all,

Why is it that when add an electrical device (receptacle) ,at 1:100 for example, I can snap to any of the non MEP snaps without a problem (quadrant)? When I change the annotation scale to 1:50 in the drawing and try to snap to the quadrant of the newly scaled device, I can only snap to the location that the snaps were for the device scaled at 1:100. The quadrant appears to be outside of the round receptacle. It seems that the location of the snaps are not being adjusted for the change in scale of the device. Regular annotative blocks behave as I expect them to. Am I doing something wrong? This was using the ootb duplex receptacle.

    Thanks.

    Hi Eddy,

I just tested what you said using US Imperial and found a similar problem. At 1/8" scale I could snap to quadrants etc. but at 1/4" scale it wouldn't allow me to snap to a quadrant only the endpoint and mid points of the lines.

You might try talking to Autodesk about this problem and see if they have a solution/work-around.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
