Default Creating a angled beam roof

    Hello to the AUGI community.
This is my first ever tread entry and im very happy to be here.

I am a newby to revit structure and i had a question i hopes some one could help.

I want to build a steel beam roof that is at a 15 degree angle.
I want all the beams to be alligned along the same plane.
Then when i have this angled roof beam s setup.
I want to shoot up columns from my 00 level to meet the top of my new angled roof.

Is there a tutorial i can find to help me learn this?

    Many thanks.
    Ian

    Hello,

There's quite a bit of discussion about the best way to do this, see the thread below.

I think creating a ref plane at the angle you need, then attached your column heads to that reference plane. From there, in 3D, add the framing members (with 3D snap on) between the column heads is the best way forward.
