Unhappy Boundary not creating correctly but no show for error

I am creating Gross Areas for my plans on a multistory office building. On the upper floors of my plan, the boundaries are being created correctly (except they are for exterior area, not gross area, the subject of another post), but on the first floor, I get an error message about one of the boundary lines being too short. When I click Show, nothing happens. Should it not somehow show me the incorrect lines?

You can try a highlight -tab of any boundary line and see where the string breaks...
