    Unhappy Structure Join issues

    Hi

    i'm thinking about how others model their Revit Projects? If you have structural columns going up through floors, i guess you would join geometry to extract accurate quantities of materials. if you do join structual columns and floors, the columns appear cut. I guess that's ok in 3D, but pass a section through the column and you'll find the finishes on the floors passing through the column as well.. any thoughts on what i might be doing wrong?
