If there is one thing Autodesk is missing, it is their ability to pick a sketcher style. It bugged me enough when I was doing mechinecal drafting and AutoCAD and Inventor did not share the basic sketching principles. In my opinion the sketcher in Inventor was inferior to that of AutoCAD. Now I am doing some Revit MEP work for a company, and the sketcher in there is terrible. The have the best drafting package on the market in AutoCAD for sketching in 2-D. Why can they not use this in all of their other packages? Even the hot keys are great (L for line, C for circle). This is my two cents worth. I am curious if others agree or if I will get used to sketcher in MEP. Thanks for letting me vent. One closing thought. I used ProEngineer for 10 years, and despite it's steep learning curve, the sketcher in it was probably the best I have ever used.
