    Question Railing Baluster Locations

I am creating a very specialized railing system for a residential deck (galvanized steel rods, steel balusters, etc) and I need to get the balusters to line up with the window mullions (to protect the amazing view). Is there a way to tell revit where I would like the balusters specifically? They don't end up being a uniform distance apart.
    Thanks!

    Danielle,

In similar situations, I have used a generic family for the railing posts, then used a railing object for any continuous rail. In general I find that for a railing that is other than completely basic, I use a combination of 1 to 3 railing objects and a smattering of generic model components to get things just right.

    Cheers!

I was afraid that might be the answer...note to developers: placing balusters would be a fabulous feature to add...

Try breaking the line segments in the railing sketch. At each break you'll get a baluster.
