    Default rendering interior

maybe a stupid question.....i have been doing alot of exterior renderings and have gotten a pretty good handle on it and i have reviewed the users guide.....do i have to place lights in my interior.....to produce interior lighting.....i have some huge glass walls at the exterior of the building, there should be enough exterior light to light the interior as much as i need.....but the shadows caused from the sun are rendered as black.....i have played with the number of reflections.....what i need is a small "carravagio" light source out of view that will alluminate my interior.....where is that button?

Er... what version of Revit are you using?

2008.......would love to have an option that is just a little better than "shading with edges"

If you don't want to use daylighting (which will take in the glass as light sources) then use the Revit furnished "studio light" - family - no geometry just a light.

You've got to set your windows as daylights with the Daylight tool under the Rendering tab.

Combining a hidden line view with a rendered view in PhotoShop's layers with a few other tricks like watercolor brush makes a nice presentation.

Make sure to keep your resolution high (like 5000px wide) for the final render.
