Need Help, Trying to use excel formulas in AutoCAD Table

Hello all,
I am running Acad 2007 + Plus some Lisps.

I am trying to use some excel formulas in an Acad Table. I have not figured out how to make this work at all yet. if anyone has any ideas, I would cerrtainly appreciate it.

I Started to use fields but was todl that I can not use "if" statements in fields.
These "If" Statements are needed for this application.

I don't think you can use most of the Excel functions in an AutoCAD table.

Unfortunately AC's tables are not spreadsheets. They're more like tables in Word. The only way I know of getting true Excel formulas into ACAD is to link an Excel sheet in the drawing. Pre 2008 - that means OLE. Since 2008 it can be linked & converted to a table.
