RISER AND TREAD QUESTION

Will someone assist me in finding the parameter to set the "begin with a riser, end with riser in RA2009? For some reason it is not showing up in the element properties for stairs.

Also, when setting the nosing length, is there a way to set the top tread nosing so that the nosing only extends beyond the front of the stringer and not the back?

It is there. See attached pictures. You just have to go to the stair properties and then select "Edit/New" to access it.

I couldn't understand your question. I think what you are asking is what Revit always does... Can you post an example?

Unless you are talking about you just want the nosing on the front of the tread, then you have to go to the stair properties > Edit/new > Apply nosing profile : Front only.
