    Default Polar Stretch w/ Attributes

    Hello.

What I have been trying to do is create a block that I can polar stretch with the attributes rotating with it. I am able to get it to do all this. My problem is that I want to be able to move the text as well, which I can also do. But the grips go crazy and end up being extremly far away from where the attribute location is.

    Has anyone encountered this problem?

(I have included an image that shows the location of the attribute grips in relation to the attribute.)

My guess is that you are selecting something that you don't need to. Maybe the action symbol, maybe the attribute and the move grip. I have had it happen before, but I forgot what I did to make it right.

My first guess would be that you are selecting the Action Symbol in the selection set for the Polar Stretch.

You can also add a Field to automatically update the LF of the pipe to the next MH

    Hope this helps,

    Ok, here's what you do...

When you are creating your selection set, you do your window and then you select the objects you want to stretch, right? Right. But then you know you need to select some action thingies for that selection set, too. There are dimension thingies, arrow and square thingies, and lightning bolt word thingies. Only select the dimension thingies, nothing else. If you have selected other action/parameter items, remove them from your selection set.

So, to recap, when you pick things to be part of your selection set, only pick the drawing entities you want to stretch and the dimension thingies that you would like to stretch with them.

    Hope that helps.
