Default Room Bounding roof in IFC

Anybody knows how to model a roof in Revit so that it would actually come through as Room Bounding to IFC?

I check the Room Bounding checkbox in Revit; and I make sure that the Room Bounding parameter is TRUE in the IFC export; but when I open the IFC file in IFC viewer, room heights exceed the roof.

I have set the room height offsets to a value higher than the roof height (cause I have sloped roof and want the room volume to fill it completely). But that should not override the room bounding attribute of the roof. right? at least it doesn't do so in gbXML export.

Is this potentially something with the mapping of objects to IFC?
