    Default Showing line thickness clearly

In my drawings we use 2 differnt line thicknesses, default and a polyline with a global width of .035. Our new customer is having difficulty telling the 2 line thicknesses apart. I can see it plainly having looked at these types of drawings for 8 years, but they are having problems. A co-worker's prints and monitor show the differences clearly, but we cannot figure out what settings could be different. Both of our lineweight settings are defaulted to .25 mm. I have also checked the ctb file and they are similar to my co-worker's as well. I know there is something simple I am missing.
    Any suggestions????

Your customer can't tell on printed? or are they using autocad?

If on cad, is lineweight set to on?

The .CTB file shouldn't matter since the thickness is assigned to the pline, right? Maybe the guy is exploding the plines, therefore making them lose their thickness. Just a thought.

it would matter for the line, it could be that the line is being printed with the .35 width. but from my past experience, the difference between .25 and .35 is difficult to see unless they are side by side, and even then it is hard to tell on a hard copy.

Especially when a lower-quality printer is used. For letter and ledger sized prints, the number of easily distiguishable line weights is pretty small. Our good printer can hit 4 or 5 lineweights, our not-so-good ones are pretty much limited to 3 (thin, medium, and thick).

This may seem obvious, but did the guy having the trouble perhaps overlook the ctb? Maybe he didn't load yours and has the wrong one selected? Long shot...but a possibility.
