Tagging a 3d Rebar - can the tag recognize the extent

Hi,

When you draw a 3D rebar and you set the spacing and extent you want - is it possible to modify the tag to recognise the extent of the 3D rebar. Similar to how path reinforcement works.

If your talking about in plan view?

Then no you can create a detail component embedded into the tag to display extents.

It would be nice if the 3D reo had the path reinforcement options.

Yes I meant in plan view.
I suspected that you couldn't and yes it would be a very nice feature to have. I will try to embed a line based componet in to the rebar tag.
I personally think that to be able to draw your reo in plan view and it automatically updates your section will be a huge timesaver. At the moment I am only using detail componets for reinforcement layouts and Detail Lines for my section. I am trying to modify the Area Reinforcement tags to suit us ie have one tag for each:
Btm reo main, Btm Reo secondary, Top reo main & Top Reo secondary
I am slowly getting there.
