    Default Area macro for ACADLT

    Hello,
    I inherited a menu item with the following macro for finding the area of an object :

    *^C^Carea;e;\-mtext;\_none;@1,-1;$m=$(/,$(fix,$(/,$(getvar,area),10000)),100)sqm;;

    This works ok in WCS ie the text appears where it's clicked, but in other UCSs the text just goes off somewhere else. Can some macro expert fix it so that it works in any UCS?

    Someone fixed it for me once but it only worked in FULL ACAD. I need it for ACADLT.

    TIA,
    Kay.

    FWIW, a * in front of a set of co-ordinate values changes them from UCS values to WCS values so replacing "@1,-1" with "@*1,-1" might do the trick.

    Thanks for your reply, John B, however it's not working, it does take me to wcs, but it breaks the chain of command there. Needs a bit more work but unfortunately I'm macro-illiterate, hence the need for macro-expert help.

    Sorry, I'm no expert either.
    There's some interesting-looking stuff here
