    Unhappy Bad Truss

Almost got a clunky parallel chord truss sorted, but when I put it on the roof slope I want, it changes the angle of the web at the apex.

Any ideas on how to constrain that web to be at 45° wrt the chord?

My other webs are behaving since I put a locked angular dim between the webs on the panel, but if I try to lock the web to the chord within the group it gives me an error saying it can only do a group change within a group and informing me that every instance that is grouped has lost its reference, and it doesn't matter if I use the top ref plane.

I am a truss designer and can,t understand what you are trying to acheive. Parallel chord trusses don't have an apex and don't go on the roof slope. Can you post example of your truss so I can try to help or maybe show example of what you are trying to acheive.

Bah! I thought I had uploaded the image.

Of Course Revit Doesn't allow me to put an apex plate on for the chords to connect to, but you can see how the web goes funky as soon as the truss is tilted.
