    Question OLE Object tracing

I recently upgraded to LT 2004 and I am very disappointed with the way they seem to have changed the way OLE objects display. In previous versions I have become accustomed to scanning a designers graphics into a JPG file, importing it as an OLE object, locking the OLE layer and then tracing the object on another layer. This is a quick and easy solution to getting designers "napkin drawings" into AutoCAD format.

LT 2004 does not seem to display OLE objects only a white square with the title of the object. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a solution to my problem?

    Hi

Take a look at the system variable OLEHIDE.

    Have a good one, Mike
