    Default Graphics card ?

I've had a machine up grade an in IT's wisdom retro fitted a PNY Nvidia Quadro FX 1700 with 512 Ram.

Does anybody have any experience with this card.

Something's not right with the machine. It constantly crashes including the blue screen of death and runs slower than a 486.
Task manager show that neither the processor or the ram are anyway near capacity could it be the graphics card or faulty parts.

Any experiences would be helpful including good ones.

Running a Quadro FX1700 here (came standard on the Dell) across a *lot* of workstations. No major problems, aside from making a driver update to prevent the screen from "blinking" once in a while. Works well across all applications, and with both OGL and DirectX inside AutoCAD.

I found the 3GB switch had been set wrong

I'm hoping this was the problem. Many thanks
