Question DDedit editor - AutoCAD 2007

In the attached pic, I have used DDedit to enter into the text editor for the dimension. First entering the editor, the dimension (in this case: 4'-0") is highlighted with a purple color and the cursor starts in front of the dimension. Currently, I press the End key on the keyboard to ensure the dimension is at the end.

    First question:
Is there a way to change that color to something else?

    Second question:
Is there a way to default AutoCAD to no have the cursor at the end when you first enter the editor? Using the mouse sometimes selects the dimension so when you start typing, the dimension is erased.

    First question:
Yes. Get into the text editor. Right click the text, go to "editor Settings", then go to "text highlight color".

    Second Question:
Not that I know of. I usually just hit the arrow key instead. It treats the dimension as one entity so you only have to hit it once.
FYI, if you delete your dimension by mistake, just type in <> to get it back.

What version are you using? I do not see any editor settings in AutoCAD 2007 nor do I see "text highlight color"
