Default Changing an elements design option

Simple question and I feel dumb for asking... but how do I do this?

For the life of me I can't find an answer.

You can edit one option, select the elements you want to move to the other option > cut them with (CTRL X) > edit the option you want to receive these entities > Paste them there. If they don't show, make sure you view is set to show the right option.

You can also use the command

Tools>Design Options>Add to Design Option Set. (There is also an icon on the Design Option toolbar).

The nice thing about this is that a menu opens allowing you to add or remove the selected object to/from multiple options or sets.

It won't work for elements that are already included in a design option. My understanding is that the user wants to move elements from one design option to another and that's why I've suggested cutting and pasting.

Sorry, misunderstood the question. You are right, the copy/paste is the only way to change an element from one option to another. (AFAIK)
