    Default Multiple Instances of ACLT2009

If I open a .dwg from windows I open a new instance of AutoCAD LT. This never happened under previous versions. How can I stop this from happening ? It is causing a problem with my script files too.

Welcome to AUGI and congrats on your first post

I'm not running LT, but make sure your variable SDI is set to 0. Just type SDI at the command line. It's probably set to 1 on your machine.
Why is it called common sense when it is so rare?

Yeah, welcome. However, there is an LT-specific forum so I moved the post there.

Thanks for that. However I still have the problem. Whether SDI is set to 0 (zero) or 1 makes no difference. No other value is permitted. Any other ideas ?
