Hi
If I understand your question properly (unlikely knowing me), by using Perpendicular OSnap on first Circle (First Point), then Perpendicular OSnap on second Circle (Next Point), will produce the shortest line between the two Circles.
Could you please post a simple drawing file showing exactly what you're after (would help me understand).
Have a good one, Mike
Just to add to Mikes reply (and I believe he is correct) there is a link in another thread that refers to some of the new features for 2005, and included in there is a discussion about deferred perpendicular and deferred tangent snaps. It is in the Tips and Tricks for AutoCAD 2005 link
I was watching this to learn more about the text masking mtext and dims, but the part about the snaps was in there as well. Hope this helps
I was using Plines. This doesn't work for some reason. It works perfectly with lines so I will do it that way & convert when finished.
Thanks for all your suggestions
