    Default Retaining wall tool

How about a "retaining wall" site tool that would both illustrate a retaining wall (we could do boulders, block, concrete, timber...) and would establish the change in elevation based on the wall geometry we build. We'd need to be able to control how far the wall steps back (IE, block steps back at a slight vertical angle, boulders at a more gradual angle, and concrete is basically vertical) and we'd need to be able to blend the lower and upper surfaces together based on the length of the wall. The wall would need to be straight or curved, and we'd probably need to sketch the top profile to determine how the upper and lower areas blend together.

It would need to make the toposurface change to conform to the wall we build.

I would really like to have this tool...it would have been particularly nice on the project I just finished where I had all sorts of retaining walls, both as part of the building and as part of the site sculpting for parking and ramping.

Now you come to think of it seems like an obvious thing to have and makes so much sense. Got my vote.

Good Wish! A retaining wall tool could essentially double as a curb tool. A must have!

Since, I've been working most of today on a retaining wall, I would really like to see this added.

There is a retianing wall footing tool in 8.1 if this helps, not sure if the wall can tilt w/o alot of fuss.

No, I don't think this is the answer. I think it just is an offset footing-- instead of being centered on the wall, it has a toe and heel distance from the wall. We still need a retaining wall tool.
