worksharing

has anyone else had an issue with the worksharing monitor for RAC 2009 not opening? I have tried every possible install, re-install... When I shut down my computer the worksharing monitor pops up then it's gone. I have turned off my virus protection and my firewall, nothing has helped.

Are you using Windows Vista? I never had this issue, but you could try right clicking the Worksharing monitor icon and selecting "Run as Administrator". See if it works.

If you are using Vista, try turning User Account Control off.

should have mentioned XP-64 bit, this is a real sore spot, I am the manager and thew only one in the office it will not work for. I go through Run>msconfig and turn everything off in startup but autodesk lic. and it works after I restart. I have individually turned of each application and restarted each time to find what is messing with it. Guess I go back to the old telephone....

Theres an x64 version of the coordination monitor i believe. I run it on Vista x64 without any issues besides not always being reliable.
