Default Grayscale in surface patterns and filled regions

I probably should know this by now, but I still struggle with getting values into lines in elevations, especially with fill patterns. (See attached) How can I get these lines to gray down?

Change the Fill Projection line color/weight in Visibility Graphics in the Wall Catergory to affect the entire view. You can also set this up to affect walls globally in Object Styles.

Cool Re: Grayscale in surface patterns and filled regions

OK. That helps with the walls. What about filled regions/patterns?

You can select any element you want in elevation > right click > Override graphics in view > By element > change the pattern color for cut or projection to be the color you want.

Thanks. I can get the color changed easily enough, but it still prints black, unless I change the whole filled region to halftone. If I do that, it also makes the outside lines halftone, which I'd like to have display as black, and fat for the ground line.

You should be getting a WYSIWYG in your prints. If not then it's your printer settings.

Thumbs up Re: Grayscale in surface patterns and filled regions

I think that's the ticket. Thanks.
