What are your recommend hardware requirements for running sketchup models 40+mb with shadows and rendering?

Would anyone recommend anything better then the Sketchup recommendation?

Once again we are starting to see files get over 40mb and they are fully rendered with shadows.

you just might get better information on a sketchup forum.... i suspect a lot of cad folks don't use sketchup at all.

Yeah i tried that a while ago, got one reply that didnt help and their tech support was a waste of time.

We have some SketchUp users here and there running Dell laptops (Core Duo) 4 GB ram and Nividia Quadro graphics card. I’ve had no complaints from them yet. If your finding that the model is moving slow or crashing, make sure the graphics acceleration is on (you probably new that). Are files are about 1.5 to 2 MB.
