Question How do I get rid of dash lines in sloping roof slab?

I have used Revit’s floor editing tools to slope the roof slab. It results in some annoying dashed slope lines, which I used the “Invisible line” linetype tool to get rid of, and they disappear from the view, but they still plot. Is there any other view setting to get rid of dash lines in sloping roof slabs? I don't want my roof plan to look like an arch plan.
Is there any way to make “Invisible lines” stick when plotting?

Please see attached word doc with screen captures to better see what I'm talking about.

    Thank you,
    Frank Varela

Red face Re: How do I get rid of dash lines in sloping roof slab?

OOPS! I just stumbled on the answer to my own question. Went to visibility graphics and unchecked "hidden lines" visibility for both floor and roof objects, and POOF! the annoying dash lines disappeared! Well, hopefully this may help someone else.

    Thank you,

    Frank

    Hi there,

Yes this is an old post, but I wanted to mention that we just came across the same problem, except on a slab on grade.

I used the linework tool and the lines dissapeared, but when plotted they show up as hidden lines.

When I made the modification as you mentioned, There were other parts of the plan that didn't plot, and the slope lines still plotted.

We figured out that the additional lines are the bottom face of the slab, so we switched to wireframe and when the lines showed up we used the linework tool and turned them invisible. Then switched back to hidden visual style and the plan plotted perfectly.

So, those hidden lines that are plotting are actually the underside of the slab.
