Default DWG to PDF file size large

We are using AutoCAD 2009. For some reason when plotting a sheet with imported Word documents (OLE Objects) using the "dwg to pdf" option, the file size become very large after the conversion. Example...The .dwg file size is 107KB and after converting to a PDF, it is 10MB's. I have have been doing this for years and the size for this type of file were always, at most, 2MB; this is because the sheet was all text. Does anyone have any ideas. I do not recall changing any setting that would cause this.

Make sure your OLE quality is set to what you had in earlier versions of AutoCAD (Options).
