    Angry Re: Duct System Inspector

    Howzit,

I've just loaded Revit Mep 2011 and was thoroughly enjoying it until I reached a point where I needed to use the System Inspector... Now I have a headache...

The main reason for it failing's because of the classic not "well connected" error which in 2010 and with AUGI's help I was able to solve regularly. Now, it just WILL NOT work... I've included the project hoping that someone out there could lend me a hand. It's very simple and the point of it is to check the pressure drops through out the system's ducting and the total so that my boss may choose a relevant fan. So: first we have the 4 grilles sucking in air to a "Reverse Pulse Unit" which is basically a big filter and where most of the pressure (750Pa) is dropping and then it leaves the RPU through a fan (which is just a thumb suck fan to test this all out with) and then to ducting which will leave the system through a grille. Now, firstly my 4 grilles just WILL NOT connect preventing the System Inspector and secondly, I've made all the connectors Return Air, is this correct? Are we able to or should we add in an Exhaust Air connector somewhere, perhaps near the end? What about the Systems? Surely I can make this all into one system? I ask this because I've made the RPU (a filter) mechanical equipment (for lack of a better category) but am having trouble adding it with the fan and 5 grilles. Perhaps I've gone about this the wrong way? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
