Default Changing full to relative path in 2008

I could do this in 2006 but have not been able to accomplish it in 2008. I need to change paths from full to relative. Before I could just take out part of the path in the "Xref Found at" and then saving the path. I have not been able to accomplish this yet. Is there a new way?

    thanks

In the new Xref Manager, rt-clk on the xref > Attach; should give you the option to change path type.
    or use Classicxref

I could not get my file to even save to a relative path. I just get declined. I use autoCAD 2008.
anyone have any other ideas on how to get my sheet file to save my xrefs on a relative path?

Yes that is on the old Xref Manager but you can still do that by typing CLASSICXREF

How are you changing your xref paths? Did you tried what lpseifert said?

Works exactly as lpseifert stated. From the palette XRef Manager, right-click on the xref you want to change, select Attach... and change the path type to Relative.

If you like the old interface type CLASSICXREF at the command prompt.

See the screen captures, 1st shows the new XRef Manager, 2nd shows the Attach dialog, 3rd shows the CLASSICXREF dialog.
