Family Category and Parameters. What does Cap mean?

Any idea what the Cap parameter represents?
I can see nothing in the help

I can only think it refers to a pile cap? not really sure how you would use the parameter though. Maybe it would help in scheduling, ie you could filter by cap parameter to remove all the ground beams and so on leaving you with a pile cap schedule?
