I have a problem that has me stumped; I'm hoping that maybe someone here might suggest something that I've overlooked.
I have a drawing, or rather - a user's PC - that is not respecting the Shade Plot and Visual Styles settings. To set this up... the drawing includes a 2D XRef'd background in a 3D piping model. I have the Visual Style set to 2D Hidden (I'm printing a plan view) with the Shade Plot set to Hidden. Theoretically, the objects underneath the 3D model should be hidden - and it is... on my PC only - but not the user's.
Knowns:
PC Hardware = the same for both
PC graphics driver = the same for both
His ACAD = AutoCAD Architecture 2009
My ACAD = AutoCAD Revit MEP Suite 2009 (MEP 2009 using Architecture profile)
Things I've done - with no results:
+ installed the same graphic driver as him
+ imported my profile to his ACAD
+ tried opening the file on other users' PCs running AutoCAD 2009, AutoCAD Architecture 2009 and AutoCAD Revit MEP Suite 2009 (MEP 2009) and so far, my PC is the only one that will hide the objects below the 3D model.
+ ran ACADINFO.LSP on both our PCs and went line by line thru the setvars
Are there any other settings that I should be looking at to make this happen?
