    Default Structural Framing

    This is the first time I have used the structural framing members to do a 3d roof framing plan, I notice that there is no way to miter the rafter ends into the ridge beam, is there any solution to this other than creating an in place family? makes these framing members kinda useless

    If you are using 2x material, use a glazing roof system for your framing, then add a "skim" coat roof
    some of your trimming will occur then, but it still might not accomplish what you need. Check this thread:
