Default learning roof slabs -- II

    Here is another question:

Learning roof slabs. The slab is a slab, it is bounded with a baseline. You control the slab edge with a Roof Slab Edge Style. The Roof Slab Edge Style has a setting for Overhang. But, also, the Roof Slab itself possesses settings for each of its Edges, one setting of which is Overhang.

You select the Roof Slab, and right-click, and you can go to either "Edit Roof Slab Edges" or "Edit Roof Slab Edge Styles." By editing the Roof Slab Edges, you can adjust the Overhang and apply the setting and see the adjustment come into effect. It works.

However, when you edit the Roof Slab Edge Style, which also has a setting for Overhang, and you adjust the Overhang there, you see no effect. The Roof Slab changes not at all.

    Why?

Or -- am I missing something, either obvious or not?

I believe that Roof Edge styles are for creating and managing shapes at the slab edges, such as gutters, fascia and soffit. The overhang for roof edges is just for managing the overhang of the square or plumb slab edge.
