Default Add Label to View Title Family

Is this possible? From what I can tell there are only 5 preset labels for view title families and it won't let you add anymore. I am trying to add a bar scale to the view title with labels at the intervals that change according to scale. I could get it done if only I could add a new label. Any ideas?

Chad, I have the same problem. Did you ever come up with a solution?

I believe that a View title is that odd instance where you can save it out to a separate family, but it acts like a system family when it isi in your project or template file. The factory has not seen fit to allow the addition of any shared parameters to this type of family. Therefor I'm guessing that it cannot be done directly in Revit. It may be possible with the API, but I'm not a programmer.

Scott is right, it cant be done. There are only two ways to include *bar scales* in a Revit project:

    1. Include them as part of the titleblock, and show every bar scale on the sheet... The way the VA mandates.

    2. Include them in different "Family Types" of the View Title, and then it will be a COMPLETELY manual process, making sure the views have the right title assigned to them at particular scales. (Ugh...)

I went with option number 2 since the project was only a roof plan and some misc roof details. But this is one of those things that I'm hoping gets picked up at each new release (kind of like the elevation tags). Ah well...
