    Angry Crashing When Selecting Printer/Plotter

When I try to plot a sheet to any of my printers/plotters I get faded white screen and then get kicked out of Autocad completely. Any ideas why???

Might be the printer driver, try to uninstall and re-install the latest driver of all your printer.

Check your page setup for the layout/model tab you are trying to plot. If it set to a plotter you don't have or can't access it will freeze and crash AutoCAD.

If I try to plot an old drawing setup with a plotter we no longer have I get an AutoCAD Warning. It gives the plotter configuration, says it cannot be used for one of these reasons: the driver cannot be found, the device cannot be found, or the driver has a problem. The None plot device has been substituted.

I don't believe freezing and crashing AutoCAD is an acceptable response to any AutoCAD command and should always generate a crash report worth filling out.

Does this only happen on the network? Plotting uses file space and I've had similar problems trying to plot a drawing on the network, your MIS is to blame not AutoCAD.

Hello friend, it is better to re-install your Auto-cad software to solve problem of crashing when selecting a printer or plotter.
