Default Coarse Linetype chnages when coping beams

    Hi,
I have drafted up my roof framing plan. I took a section along a rafter to show some connections. I coped my UB members and when I did so the Linetype changed of that members. It still has the same Struct Usage as before coping them. The UB family gets its stick representation from the family and the the "Stick Line" in the family is set to "Defined by instance"
    Please see attchad pdf.

    Thanks
    Jonas

I'm not sure why this happened to you since I've never experienced this problem yet while using Revit. There is a workaround you can use to at least fix the problem in the framing plan view.

You can select the members that had their line weights changed by the coping action, then right click to "Override Graphics in View" ---> "By Element". You can then override the line weight for the members to whatever thickness you like.

    Thanks,
I ended up using the Linework Tool. I have another guy in the office that had the same probelm when he was using a ref plane to cut the end of the rafters ie the Lineweight of the rafter cut chnaged.

    Cheers,
    Jonas
