My Fascia Sweeps are not showing up and wall sweeps are not showing up. They are both applied manually
any ideas
I built a material take off schedule and just listed all the material used in the job and the material for the Sweeps to not show up at all. They are not built in to the wall they are place manually . any ideas or work around
I'm trying the same thing in 2010...my understanding is that you can't schedule wall sweeps (built into the wall type or added manually). It also seems that schedules and material take-offs also don't recognize the wall sweep materials...I know someone out there has an answer??
Sweeps do not report on material schedules. its just a known limitation. sucks but thats the way it is right now.

It is ( and has been for a while ) on the Wishlist.......
cheers
So, I guess the answer is to make sweeps a generic line-based component and apply a material to them?
Sucks to have to recreate all my wall sweeps...
I use what I call a material sample family. It is a generic model family with an instance based material parameter. I place these in a room and assign all the materials in the project to them that I need to show up on the material list. Then turn this family off in most views.

This post is a couple year old now, but looks like this issue is still not fixed in RAC 2012. The material takeoff I genrated does not show materials applied to a sweep that represents the wall base. Can anybody confirm that this issue is still not addressed?
